Aluminum honeycomb sandwich panels, have a high degree of rigidity and a very low weight. In same thickness, aluminum honeycomb composite panels weigh only 1/5 of solid aluminum panel, 1/6 of glass and 1/10 of a steel plate. The shapes of inside aluminum honeycomb cores are similar to many I-beams. They are evenly distributed and attached between the upper and the lower aluminum cover sheets. This makes them more stable and less deformable.

The stable structure and high strength enable aluminum honeycomb panel having a better wind pressure resistance than aluminum plastic composite panels and aluminum single plates.
