Surface Preparation: Before bonding, both the stone and the aluminum honeycomb panel surfaces need to be thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, oil, and moisture. Alcohol or special cleaning agents can be used for this, ensuring the adhesive adheres properly.
Application of Adhesive: Common adhesives used for bonding include two-component epoxy resin or polyurethane glue. These adhesives have high bonding strength, aging resistance, and are suitable for various environments. During application, mix the adhesive according to the manufacturer's recommendations, then apply it evenly on the surface of the aluminum honeycomb panel using a notched trowel.

Then, use a specialized pressing machine or vacuum bag press to apply uniform pressure. This allows the adhesive to spread evenly between the surfaces, filling gaps and eliminating air bubbles, ensuring a complete bond.
Curing: Cure the adhesive according to its specifications, either at room temperature or under heat. Curing time typically ranges from a few hours to 24 hours, depending on the type of adhesive and the environmental conditions. During curing, do not move the composite panel to ensure the bonding quality.

Choosing the Right Adhesive: Different adhesives have varying bonding strengths and durability. Epoxy resin glue offers strong adhesion and is suitable for outdoor use, while polyurethane glue has better flexibility, accommodating thermal expansion between the materials.
Control of Temperature and Humidity: The bonding environment's temperature and humidity can affect the adhesive's curing process. It is generally recommended to carry out bonding at temperatures between 20-25°C and avoid high humidity to prevent adhesive failure.
