General Information of Aluminum Honeycomb

The Aluminum honeycomb core is composed by multi-layer aluminum foil , honeycomb is formed after fully expanded. Our aluminum honeycomb core has sharp and clear hole surface, and it is suitable for adhering to high grade aluminum panels as well as other purposes.

Aluminium honeycomb is a lightweight, environmental friendly (recyclable) material with good mechanical properties:

Aluminium honeycomb sheets can be used in tool machines, airflow ventilation, working surfaces for  automatic machines and as  core for lightweight panels, etc.  
Our  clients may customise our products by chosing: honeycomb thickness (from 3 to  1000 mm), cell size (from 4 to 20 mm) and aluminium foil thickness(from 0.04mm to 0.15mm)

Applications:
In particular, as core material for sandwich panels, aluminium honeycomb is applicated in different sectors such as: public transport vehicles,  shipbuilding, building industry for floors, roofs, doors, partitions, facades,  and for all products which require fire rating and optimal strength-to-weight-ratio.

Aluminium honeycomb is sold perforated or non perforated (the micro perforations allow air flow among cells when needed i.e. vacuum or decompression tools), in unexpanded slices, or expanded sheets.
