Our clients may customise our products by chosing: honeycomb thickness (from 3 to 1000 mm), cell size (from 3 to 25 mm) and aluminium foil density (depends on foil’s thickness and on cell size) In particular, as core material for sandwich panels, aluminium honeycomb is used in different sectors such as: public transport vehicles, shipbuilding, building industry for floors, roofs, doors, partitions, facades, and for all products which require an optimal stiffness-to-weight-ratio.

Lightweight, 10mm thick aluminum honeycomb core weighs less than 0.5kg/m2.

Stiffness, aluminum honeycomb core offer good strength, a wide range of cell size and foil thickness can be chosen.

Fire resistance, aluminum honeycomb sheet is a kind of fireproof materials, it is tested A2 fire class building materials.

Compression, shear and corrosion resistance

Flatness, aluminum honeycomb sheet when expanded forms like a thousands of "工" shape walls, it offers super flatness and high strength.

Delivery Forms of Aluminum Honeycomb Cores:

Our aluminum honeycomb cores usually delivered in unexpanded slices to save shipping space. For higher density honeycomb cores, can be delivered in expanded sheet size. Besides, we can also deliver in unexpanded blocks, customers can cut into whatever thickness they want.
