Fiberglass aluminum honeycomb core sandwich panel is a lightweight composite panel with an aluminium honeycomb core inside and faced with fiber glass impregnated with polyester resin. The fiberglass aluminum honeycomb core sandwich panels are customized for stone composition due to it's light but strong structures and cost effective.

This panel offers unique characteristics since it combines lightweight with high mechanical properties. The application of this panel for example permits huge savings as far as weight and thickness of natural stones slabs, such as marbles and granite and mosaics are concerned. In this way, also the costs of these materials can be reduced.

The fiberglass aluminum honeycomb core sandwich panel has fiberglass skin (in smooth finish or rough surfaces for further lamination) on both sides. The materials of the panel are highly durable and have a number of unique features, such as:

Composition of fiberglass aluminum honeycomb core sandwich panels:

Skins: handmade glassfiber fabric, made of epoxy resin or polyester resin, thickness from 0.3mm to 3.0mm

Cores: aluminum honeycomb cores, alloy 3003 series, cell size 1/4'', 3/8'', etc. foil thickness from 0.04mm to 0.08mm

Total panel thickness: from 3mm to 300mm

Weight of the whole panel: 20mm thick panel 4.5kg per square meter(with 1.0mm fiberglass skins and 1/4inch cell size.)

Standard panel size: 1220x2440mm, 1500x3000mm, 1250x3000mm, any other customized sizes.
