Light Weight Aluminium Honeycomb Cores

Aluminum honeycomb core is strongly laminated with multi-layers of aluminum foils by adhesive film, which are expanded into various sizes as per customers' request. Its performance mainly depends on aluminum foils (aluminum alloy grade 3003/5052), cell wall bonding strength and specification (foil thickness & cell size).

Aluminum honeycomb is composed of many hexagonal structures. It has all kinds of dimensions and densities, and it is a kind of green and environmental compounded materials of high quality, low density, fire protection, sound insulation and thermal insulation. The interconnected honeycomb cores are just like thousands of double-T steel panels. The core layer is distributed on the whole panel, with a good resistance to shearing, bending and compression.

We supply both expanded honeycomb cores and unexpanded honeycomb core slices. The honeycomb cell size, cell node(side length), foil thickness and height all can be customized as per your requirements.
