Aluminum honeycomb is adhesively-bonded of the aluminum foil, which produces one of the highest strength/weight and the highest surface-to -volume ratio of any structural material. Our aluminum honeycomb is made from 3003H18 and 5052H18 aluminum alloy foil.
Aluminium honeycomb is a new, rather strong, high-quality composite material, which is devoid of such disadvantages typical for composite materials as low strength, susceptibility to damage due to mechanical impact, complexity of production, high cost. Aluminum honeycomb is an innovative material developed in the 20th century to reduce the weight of structures while maintaining the necessary characteristics. The numerous advantages of the material include low weight, resistance to compression and stretching, resistance to fire, corrosion resistance. The field of application of aluminum honeycombs is extremely wide - the transport industry, including car building and shipbuilding, construction industry, military-industrial complex.

The thickness of the aluminum honeycomb thickness can be from 3 to 300 mm, the cell size of the aluminum honeycomb is from 3mm to 25mm, the density (depending on the thickness of the foil and the cell size) is from 19 kg / m3 to 84 kg / m3. Foil thickness from 0.04mm to 0.15mm.
